About / The person behind the portfolio

Hi, I'm Anagh.

A thermal engineer.
A curious person, first.

I like understanding why things work — and how they could work better. For me, that curiosity leads to heat transfer, cooling systems, and the materials that connect them.

From microchannel geometry to the bigger picture of sustainable cooling, I'm drawn to problems where physics meets something we can design and build.

What happens when a coolant can absorb heat through a phase change, but the flow doesn't mix enough to make full use of it?

That question is at the heart of the research I coauthored on herringbone microchannels and microencapsulated phase-change material slurries. The study numerically explores how passive mixing can improve heat transfer, while accounting for the pressure-drop penalty.

02 / What keeps me curious

Beyond a temperature number.

The questions and ideas I want to keep exploring.

Sustainable cooling

Keeping electronics cool matters. So does the energy and environmental cost of doing it. I'm interested in solutions that consider both.

Materials that make a difference

Coolants, thermal interfaces, and phase-change materials — and how their properties shape the behavior of a cooling system.

AI & the environment

How the growth of artificial intelligence intersects with sustainability, and what it asks of the hardware and infrastructure behind it.

When I'm not thinking about thermal resistance, you'll find me playing guitar, meeting new people, and trying to understand the world through their stories.

I believe every conversation is a chance to see things differently. That curiosity doesn't stop when I step away from engineering.

Why I made Cooling Lab

It's a place to share and explore the engineering ideas that interest me — through technical writing and interactive tools.

04 / Start a conversation

Let's talk cooling.
Or something new.

For engineering opportunities, research conversations, or a shared curiosity about how things work.
